I had the incredible opportunity to design the soundtrack for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which then opened the door to leading the design for Indiana Jones: The Complete Collection on CD & Vinyl, including each individual soundtrack in the set as well as all the packaging.

After creating Dial of Destiny, and The Complete Collection CD set I went about connecting a collectors edition deluxe vinyl set. This involved a lot of research at the Imagineering Library to ensure all our concepts were in line with the film. I landed on using Indy's satchel as our box case, and pitched a secret compartment with a hidden map (including secrets revealed in certain lighting conditions).
This concept was approved and ended in what you see here.
A couple neat features that are not visible here are that the box itself is printed on a canvas textured material to replicate the real prop from the film, and has foil on the buttons to add to the realism. Also the back side of the map has hand-written notes as if written by Indy, which I got to come up with the text for.
